Schonbrunn Palace

In between the business tours, we found time to make it to the Schonbrunn Palace outside of Vienna. The palace was constructed in 1638 and was gorgeous! If I could go back to Austria, I would definitely like to spend more time here.

Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien

Lafter in the afternoon I was able to visit one of Vienna’s impressive art museums. While the paintings and sculptures inside the museum were gorgeous, the building itself was phenomenal. Once again, I would love to have spent more time here.

To end the day, we decided to go to a famous Vienna restaurant in hopes of ordering a classic Austrian dessert and drink that many people spoke of. Due to a misunderstanding of the menu, we actually ended up ordering both the wrong drink and dessert, but what we ended up with was incredible. Walking home that evening, we walked by an ancient Roman ruin in the middle of Vienna. The sign stated that the ruin included a part of a wall and an irrigation ditch that dated back to the first century.
